I have gained professional experience working for boutique offices and corporate design studios, on projects & proposals of various types and scales both locally and internationally. I have attained sufficient knowledge of all stages of design and an understanding of the importance of freehand sketching as an effective communication tool.

 

My methodology to designing objects / spaces / built environments involves a holistic and rigorous analysis of the client’s vision, elements of the environment/ nature, the urban context, sociocultural sensitivities, with a harmonious integration of traditional & contemporary techniques.

 

I was part of a team that delivered the design of a distinctive, timeless and elegant 5 star hotel and a high rise residential tower along the Dubai marina beachfront. In addition to those projects, I was also involved in designing the Eagle hills Marina Gate Hotel & service apartments with killa Design.

 

At CallisonRTKL, I currently work through all design stages ranging from visioning packages - pre-concept & concept design proposals - schematic & detail design documents while reporting to the Associate Director and occasionally managing and leading design efforts on smaller scale projects, with limited assistance, while also maintaining positive client relationships.
